Jed Morse, Chief Curator, Nasher Sculpture Center, talks about the work of Eduardo Chillida (1924 – 2002), Spain’s foremost sculptor of the twentieth century. Widely recognized for monumental iron and steel public sculptures displayed across the globe, Chillida is also celebrated for a wholly distinctive use of materials such as stone, chamotte clay, and paper to engage concerns both earthly and metaphysical.

This is the shortest way I could describe what a 25 hour race entails. I think myself and the crew stayed up at least 30 hours from Saturday on into Sunday. You'll notice that we all snuck in a 15-20 min nap at most, but it was go time until the race concluded on Sunday December 3rd 2017. An adventure nonetheless isn't possible without those in the background ensuring success. Bob and May Faieta of Competition Motorsports are those two for sure and the entire crew, drivers and help from some energy drinks, water and many small reeses cups, we somehow survived! Enjoy our short glimpse into the 15th running of the 25 hours at Thunderhill at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA. December 1-3, 2017.
